[Error: unknown template qotd]A couple of years ago there was an 80's marathon on tv. I love 80's music so I sat there for almost eighteen hours, until I more or less fell asleep in my chair. A happy memory. :)

I love 80s TV! I can see why that would be a happy memory for you! :-)

:) I'm glad you like it too.

For quite a few years now I've been suffering from chronic pain but when I was watching that 80's marathon, I was so happy the pain more or less went away for a while. It's happened a few other times, so I know it has to be something to do with depression. Unfortunately, I never stay happy for long, so the pain always returns. :(

I'm sorry you've been suffering from chronic pain. I'm sure it must be a relief when you can forget about it, even if it's just for a little while. Maybe you should have some 80s DVDs on hand for when you're going through a really tough period. They obviously aren't a cure, but they seem to be a good distraction.

Thanks. :) Yes, they are a good distraction. I have this DVD rental club, so I can at least rent the 80's series (and 90's too). Some day I might be able to afford to buy some too. In the meantime I'm going through Robin of Sherwood. :)
